It’s easy to choose Paris, but than you can’t go for Erasmus in Valencia. Other people choose Finnland, Manchester or Cordoba. In order to find an answer, we ask youtube, we seached for “erasmus” and after several ours watching Erasmus Party Videos, this funny video was discoverd….

We will see … The statistic and all its numbers are from 2005/2006 vor, the last numbers available. And yes, our expectation was true, must Erasmus Students go to Spain, know for Fiesta & Sun. But Sweden was a big surprise! 7000 go to Schweden, every year ! Well if we could know if they are men or women it would be easier to understand if they are interested in Sweden or just in swedish Girls….

Erasmus Video

Hello! Today a small article explaining you how to create your first Erasmus Video – It’s easy and you don’t need that much. First of all you need a digital camera, that can grab videos, today most of them can do so. Second, you need your favorite song as MP3 and last but not least you need a computer (for our explaination a Windows-Computer). Every version of Windows offers several utilities for free, one of the is the Windows Movie Maker – you will need it. If you have all these things, start grabbing your first videos.

If you open the Windows Video Maker, you will see 4 different windows. Three on the top, one on the bottom auf the Video Maker Window. The first one shows you the steps to do, the second one is the place where you put all your videos (the easiest way – open a second window with all the videos you have, click the video onces and keep the left button of your computer mouse pressed, move it into the second window of the Video Maker). In the third window, you may watch and cut your videos.

The window below is the place where you can design your own video, there are 3 channels, in the first one, you put all your videoclips, order them as you would like to have them in the video, additionally you put here the introduction and the end, that meens the text you would like to show before and after the video. The second channel is for music (put your MP3-song here, or Audio (you could include a video there, the programm would only use the Audio). And the third channel is for all these small comments and messages you want to show during your videos.

Important in the third channel is the magnify-function, using it, you can arrange videos and music the way it fits. That’s it, you’re done, just create the Video now, quality should be 340 Kbits/s. Now create your account at www.youtube.com and upload your video, it should take some minutes until it is available and you have for exemple the following address

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQdYJ-2cuK8

Now you can include the video in your own Erasmus Blog, it’s really easy, for the video named above, you just add the following to your article: “[youtube" + the videocode "cQdYJ-2cuK8" + "]” and you have the video on your blog, it should look like this:

As you see, it’s really easy to create and to publish an Erasmus Video. If you don’t have any videoclips, you may use fotos in order to create your own Video, it that case it’s a nice slide show with your favorite music, it looks as shown here:
